Unplanned pregnancy:

When you contact us by phone or email, we will make an appointment to meet you at our base in Newmarket, if you think that will be useful. We can be flexible and will try to find a time that suits you.
Your session will last about one hour, and you will be offered the opportunity to talk about your circumstances, the particular issues that are worrying you most, and any information you may need.

Sessions are free of charge. It is normally helpful to come more than once, but this will be up to you.

We offer a listening ear and a non-judgmental approach, aiming to help you to take enough time to think through your position from various angles and to make the decision that is right for you.

Whatever decision you make we aim to continue to support you, if that is helpful to you.

Please note although we are here to help and support we do not refer women directly for a termination or to termination clinic/hospital.

If you decide to keep the baby you can continue to meet if you wish, for emotional support, further information about the later stages of pregnancy, birth, parenting, benefits or financial advice as appropriate. We also have a stock of donated baby clothes and other items.

Baby loss:

If you have you have lost a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth we are available to help you work through your grief and loss. It can be a very lonely process and many women feel that no one can understand what they are going through. It can be helpful to talk, to look at the different emotions you are experiencing, to find ways of remembering, and when you are ready, to let go, and face the next stage of life.

After a termination:

Many women who have gone though an abortion find themselves struggling unexpectedly with strong feelings of sadness, anger and loss that just won’t go away. We run a programme called The Journey, which lasts about 3 months, and which will help you to work through these painful feelings at your own pace, and to move on. It is a difficult process, but well worth the effort and we aim to support you through it.

We can not see under 16's unless accompanied by an adult.
